Pon Group

Pon Holdings completed the acquisition of RH Marine Group, which includes Radio Holland Group, Van Berge Henegouwen, and AERIUS Marine GmbH, to expand its maritime activities worldwide.

On January 1, 2020, Zeppelin GmbH took over sales and service of Caterpillar machinery and components in Denmark, Sweden, Greenland and the Faroe Islands from the Dutch Pon Group. The deal also includes MaK engine sales in the Baltics, Finland, Iceland and Faroe Islands, and about 800 employees transferred to Zeppelin.

The Zeppelin Group has taken over distribution and service of Caterpillar products in Sweden, Denmark, and Greenland, and MaK engines in the Baltic region, Finland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands, effective January 1, 2020.

Pon Holdings intends to take over Parcom Capital's majority share in RH Marine Group, becoming 100% owner. RH Marine Group includes Radio Holland Group, VBH and Aerius Marine, serving the maritime sector.

Zeppelin Group will take over distribution and service of Caterpillar construction and mining equipment in Sweden, Denmark and Greenland, as well as Cat and MaK engines in the Baltics, Finland, Iceland and Faroe Islands, subject to antitrust approval.
