GigaDevice announced it signed an RRAM patent licensing agreement with Rambus Inc. and a separate licensing agreement with Reliance Memory, a joint venture between Rambus, GigaDevice and other investors. GigaDevice obtained licenses for over 180 RRAM technology-related patents and applications.

Rambus signed a definitive agreement to acquire Northwest Logic, a market leader in memory, PCIe and MIPI digital controllers. The deal combines complementary digital and physical IP portfolios.
