China Railway Rolling Stock Corp

Voith is collaborating with international wind turbine manufacturers to develop and produce gearboxes and generators for wind farms in Europe and Asia. A joint venture with CRRC in China is developing gearboxes for the Asian market.

Voith and China Railway Rolling Stock Corp (CRRC) approved the setup of two joint ventures in Beijing and Shanghai, focusing on R&D, manufacturing, sales and services of rail industry products including gear units for high-speed trains, regional trains, metro and light rail, as well as wind gearboxes and air compressors for industrial markets.
