Meridian Bioscience

Meridian Bioscience will increase production capacity of its SARS-CoV-2 molecular diagnostic test after receiving a $5.5M award from NIH and a grant from JobsOhio. The expansion includes a new facility in Newtown, Ohio, and will create 45 jobs, with maximum capacity of 800,000 tests per month by end of 2021.

Meridian Bioscience, Inc. completed its acquisition of Exalenz Bioscience Ltd., an Israeli provider of BreathID urea breath test systems for H. pylori detection.

Debiopharm announced that its subsidiary GenePOC has reached an agreement for Meridian Bioscience to acquire GenePOC's molecular diagnostics business portfolio, including the revogene device and rapid molecular assays.
