ITP Aero signed a contract with the Royal Netherlands Air Force for maintenance, repair and overhaul of T700-701D engines powering its AH-64E Apache fleet, with work at its Albacete facility and a duration of three to five years.
ITP Aero has installed a 1400 bar Quintus Technologies Flexform high pressure sheet hydroform press at its recently completed plant in Bilbao, Spain, with the press installed in December 2019. ITP Aero also enrolled in a long-term Quintus Care Program.
ITP Aero inaugurated new facilities in Querétaro, Mexico, for producing aircraft engine pipes and end-fittings, adding 40 jobs in 2019 and targeting 327,000 pipes and 230,000 end-fittings in 2020.
ITP Aero is building a new plant in Derio, Biscay, near its Zamudio headquarters, for Externals components, including aeronautic tubes. The plant is planned to open by late spring 2019 and will host 160 employees, including 60 new hires.
