Russia plans new polyester fibre plant in Ivanovo region
Russia had planned to build a new facility in the Ivanovo region to produce polyester fibres and raw materials, aiming to reduce import dependence. Construction was suspended in 2017 due to lack of state guarantees but may resume soon.
