Lumax Auto Technologies announced a 50:50 joint venture with Yokowo Co. Ltd. to manufacture and supply on-board antennas and vehicle communication products in India. Manufacturing is expected to commence in 2021.

Lumax Auto Technologies signed an MoU with Ananda Drive Techniques to set up a manufacturing facility in India for EV motors and controllers, expected by end of FY 2020-21.

Lumax Auto Technologies and JOPP GMBH formed a 50/50 joint venture, Lumax JOPP Allied Technologies, to manufacture automated manual transmission (AMT) kits and components in India. Investment of Rs 75 crores over 5 years, with commercial production expected in Q4 FY20.

Lumax Auto Technologies has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Jopp Holding JmbH, Germany, to form Lumax JOPP Allied Technologies for manufacturing automotive components like shift towers and shift forks.
