Abay Cement launches construction of $306M cement plant in Ethiopia
Abay Cement has officially launched construction of a new cement plant in Dejen district, Amhara region, Ethiopia. The plant will cost ETB 8.8 billion ($306 million) and have a production capacity of 2.25 million tonnes per annum, creating 1,500 jobs.
