Kemin Industries

Kemin Industries has expanded its encapsulation production site in Cavriago, Italy, with two new manufacturing facilities and added pilot plants for product development. The expansion increases production of encapsulation ingredients for animal nutrition.

Kemin Industries has acquired Bio-Cide International, Inc., a provider of chlorine dioxide-based antimicrobial technology based in Norman, Oklahoma. The acquisition adds antimicrobial solutions to Kemin's portfolio.

Kemin Industries announced an expansion of its manufacturing facility in the SIPCOT industrial estate in Gummidipundi, Tamil Nadu, to serve growing animal protein demand in South Asia. The new plant produces metal propionate and organic trace minerals.
