New Wing Interconnect Technology

Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT), through its subsidiary New Wing Interconnect Technology (Bac Giang), acquired Goertek Electronics Vietnam, a subsidiary of China's Goertek. New Wing will inject $50 million into the joint venture, holding a 25% stake, with another FIT entity holding 75%.

Singapore-invested New Wing Interconnect Technology Co increased the investment capital of its headphone and wire manufacturing plant in Bac Giang province, Vietnam, by $110 million, bringing total investment to $210 million.
