Goertek

Goertek Vina, a subsidiary of Goertek, plans to invest an additional VND527 billion ($20 million) to expand its electronic equipment and camera plant in Bac Ninh, Vietnam, adding 19,000 square meters and increasing annual camera capacity by 20 million units.

MACOM and Goertek have agreed to establish a joint venture based in Hong Kong to supply, market and distribute gallium nitride on silicon (GaN-on-Si)-based RF power components into China's base-station market. Goertek will provide up to $134.6 million to MACOM, and both will contribute $25 million in working capital to the JV.
