Akastor subsidiary MHWirth acquired Bronco Manufacturing for $31.5 million to strengthen onshore aftermarket services and North American presence.

MHWirth was awarded a contract to deliver its DEAL ADC automatic drilling control systems on five Transocean drilling rigs operating on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for Equinor.

Transocean signed long-term contracts with Equinor to install automated drilling systems on five harsh-environment semisubmersible rigs. The systems use technology from Sekal, NOV, and MHWirth.
