Nuvotronics, a Cubic subsidiary, has been awarded a contract to deliver line replaceable unit test assets for potential F-16 upgrades. The contract involves design, development, production, testing, qualification and delivery to Georgia Tech Research Institute.

Cubic Nuvotronics was awarded a contract worth over $10 million from the Department of Defense to develop a dual-band 5G wireless network communications transceiver for military applications.

Nuvotronics will invest $50 million over five years to expand its manufacturing footprint and production capabilities in Durham, North Carolina, creating 150 jobs.

Cubic Corporation is completing renovation and upgrade of its San Diego manufacturing facility to accommodate production and testing of components for live, virtual and constructive air combat training systems, including new secure LVC pods.
