Rio Tinto has awarded a $400 million EPC contract to Mondium, a joint venture between Monadelphous and Lycopodium, to design and construct the Western Turner Syncline phase two mineral processing facilities in Western Australia.

Monadelphous Group secured a construction contract for BHP's South Flank Iron Ore Project in Western Australia's Pilbara region. The contract involves building a reclaimer and two stackers for thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions, with completion by April 2021, creating about 70 jobs.

Talison Lithium awarded Mondium a $100 million EPC contract for the design and construction of a new tailing retreatment processing plant at the Greenbushes lithium mine in Western Australia. Work is expected to be completed by June 2020.

West African Resources awarded the engineering, procurement, construction management (EPCM) contract for the Sanbrado Gold Project to Lycopodium following a competitive tender process.
