Aqua-Chem

Saur Group, a French water management company and portfolio company of EQT, acquired Aqua-Chem, a water purification specialist based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Terms were not disclosed. Aqua-Chem will become the North American platform and water purification global center of excellence of Nijhuis Saur Industries.

Saur has signed an agreement to acquire Veolia's European Mobile Water Services division for approximately €190 million, expanding its industrial water activities in Europe. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Aqua-Chem was awarded a project to provide a continuous 600 gpm WFI system, including pretreatment and four PR-9000 Vapor Compression stills, for a major pharmaceutical project in the Central US. The scope includes equipment fabrication, installation support, start-up, commissioning and validation support.
