Kuraray Europe GmbH was awarded a €624,890 contract by the Canfranc Underground Laboratory Consortium to supply 7,900 ultra-high-transparency PMMA sheets for the Hyper-Kamiokande experiment.

Kuraray Europe GmbH has been awarded a EUR 624,890 contract by the Canfranc Underground Laboratory Consortium to supply 7,900 sheets of high-transparency polymethyl methacrylate for anti-implosion covers for photomultiplier tubes in the Hyper-Kamiokande neutrino experiment.

Kuraray's TROSIFOL business started production on a new SentryGlas ionoplast interlayer line at its Holešov site in the Czech Republic. The new line, built in one year, passed factory acceptance testing in October 2018 and first rolls came off in January 2019.

MilliporeSigma announced an extended and expanded collaboration with Kuraray Europe to exclusively supply pharmaceutical polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) grades for drug delivery applications.
