Messer

Messer is building a new air separation plant in Vila-seca, Tarragona, with a €35 million investment, producing 2,400 tonnes per day of oxygen, nitrogen and argon, with startup planned for December next year.

Messer and CVC Capital Partners Fund VII agreed with Linde AG to acquire the majority of Linde's industrial gases business in North America and parts of its South American business for USD 3.3 billion. The joint venture MG Industries will operate under the Messer brand, and the deal depends on the Praxair-Linde merger and cartel approvals.
