Weichai Group

Weichai, working with CRRC Yongji, will roll out the first full-scale production model of a 200-ton hydrogen fuel-lithium battery mixed energy mining truck in the second half of 2021, following a 2019 prototype.

The second phase of the intelligent forklift project supported by German Kion Group started construction in Jinan, Shandong, China on August 17, 2020.

KION Group started construction of a new plant in Jinan, China to produce counterbalance trucks. The €100 million facility is expected to create over 800 jobs by 2025 and expand KION's product portfolio in the Chinese material handling market.

Weichai Group and Kamaz Group signed a cooperation agreement in Beijing on May 14, 2019, to establish a joint venture, Kamaz Weichai Co, in a free trade zone in the Yaroslavl region, Russia, for the production and sales of industrial diesel and natural gas engines.

Alfdex, a joint venture between Alfa Laval and Concentric, will expand its manufacturing unit in China during H1 2019 to nearly double capacity, and has received its first orders including one from Weichai.

BELAZ and Weichai Group signed a memorandum of strategic partnership and cooperation. Weichai supplied an engine for a BELAZ 75589 90-ton mining dump truck, and a potential order for 12 additional units is under consideration.
