Ulusoy Elektrik

Ulusoy Elektrik will start production of primary and secondary medium-voltage products at its facilities in Sincan, Ankara. The products are currently manufactured by affiliates of its main partner Eaton Corporation.

Eaton acquired a controlling interest in Ulusoy Elektrik, a Turkish manufacturer of medium-voltage electrical equipment, for $214 million, to strengthen its IEC portfolio and access to Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Eaton agreed to acquire an 82.275% controlling stake in Ulusoy Elektrik, a Turkish manufacturer of medium-voltage equipment, for approximately $214 million. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2019.
