Turkish cable manufacturer BMET has invested approximately USD 150 million in its plant near Sebeta, Ethiopia, expanding production to include fiber optic, data, and high-voltage power cables. The plant, established in 2013, now serves clients in Ethiopia, Kenya, Djibouti, Sudan, and Somaliland.
