Waldinger Corp

The Waldinger Corporation, a Des Moines-based mechanical and electrical contractor, announced it is merging with Aupperle Plumbing and Heating of North Platte, Nebraska. The deal provides a succession plan for the local business.

The Waldinger Corporation acquired Industrial Refrigeration Services (IRS), an industrial refrigeration and electrical contractor based in Ankeny, Iowa. The acquisition was completed on June 24, 2019.

Waldinger Corp. plans to build a $20 million corporate headquarters and production facility in Des Moines, Iowa, following its acquisition of Wolin Mechanical-Electrical. The total cost could reach $22 million.

Waldinger Corp, a mechanical and electrical contractor, will build a $21 million corporate office and production facility in Des Moines, Iowa. The project includes a 54,000 sq ft office and a 95,000 sq ft production plant and warehouse, creating 115 new jobs.
