Haier India will invest Rs 700 crore in a new AC plant at its Greater Noida site, adding 2.5 million units capacity, and Rs 100 crore in a PCB unit. The PCB unit starts production in October 2025; the AC plant is to be completed by 2026.

Haier India is investing Rs 400 crore in phase II expansion of its Greater Noida plant, adding 44,890 sq m for injection moulding and sheet metal. The expansion will improve production capacity and backward integration, scheduled from July 2023 to November 2024.

Haier India held a groundbreaking ceremony for its second industrial park in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with an investment of INR 3069 crores over three years. The park will produce refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, LED panels, and water heaters, creating about 4,000 direct jobs.

Haier India signed an agreement with the Uttar Pradesh government to invest ₹3,069 crore in a new factory in Greater Noida, with first phase expected to start commercial production by 2020.
