Whyte's Foods

Aliments Putter's inc. acquired the assets of the building and equipment of Whyte's Foods Inc., a vegetable processor specializing in pickles, peppers, cabbage and other vegetables, located in Saint-Louis, Quebec. The acquisition makes Putter's the largest manufacturer/processor of pickles, peppers and sauerkraut in Canada.

Whyte's Foods is investing $16.5 million to open a food-processing facility in Wallaceburg, Ontario, creating approximately 100 jobs. The plant will produce pickles, peppers and relish, with a grand opening planned for fall 2019.
