Hana Micron

Hana Micron signed a contract with Forehope Electronic (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. to supply semiconductor manufacturing equipment worth 5.38 billion won ($4.8 million).

Hana Micron Inc. began operations at a plant in Vietnam for biometric fingerprint sensor packaging, increasing its capacity to 210 units.

Hana Micron inaugurated its second semiconductor factory in Bac Giang Province, Vietnam, on September 16, 2018. The company plans to invest over $1 billion in chip production in Vietnam by 2025, with the factory expected to generate $800 million in revenue and create over 4,000 jobs.
