SIMONA AMERICA Industries celebrated the groundbreaking of a $25 million expansion at its Archbald, Pennsylvania facility, adding 155,000 square feet and a new polyolefin production line. Completion is scheduled for early Q3 2026, creating over 25 new jobs.

Savannah Cement has signed a Sh37.8 billion ($300 million) deal with Chinese company Simona to build a clinker manufacturing plant and a cement factory in Mwingi North, Kitui County, Kenya. The cement plant will be completed within months, while the clinker unit will be completed in about two years.

SIMONA AG acquired Premier Material Concepts, a US-based extrusion company specializing in plastic sheet products for recreational vehicles, agricultural, and industrial applications, from Bertram Capital. Premier Material Concepts had annual revenue of approximately USD 27 million in 2017.

The SIMONA Group acquired Premier Material Concepts, LLC (PMC), an extrusion company in Findlay, Ohio, USA. PMC manufactures plastic sheet products for recreational vehicles, agricultural, and industrial applications. The acquisition strengthens SIMONA's position in the U.S. plastics market.
