Valmet will supply an automation system to the Newhurst energy-from-waste facility in Leicestershire, UK, ordered by Hitachi Zosen Inova. The plant will treat up to 350,000 tonnes of waste per year and generate 42 MW of electricity.

CGN acquires 75% stake in 650 MW Markbygden wind project in Sweden
China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group (CGN) acquired a 75% stake in the 650 MW Markbygden wind complex in Sweden from a joint venture between GE Financial Services and Green Investment Group. The project is under construction and due for completion by end of 2019.
