Melexis

Melexis will provide current sensor chips for NIO's traction inverter system, powering all of NIO's battery electric vehicles.

Melexis has begun construction of a new electronic components factory in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a planned investment of €75 million over five years. The expansion will add 15,000 sqm to its existing facility and create 100 jobs by end of 2018, with completion expected by 2020.
