Ensinger, Solvay and Optek are partnering to produce precision sensor components for biopharmaceutical processes, including vaccine production. Ensinger machines high-performance polymers from Solvay into single-use cells for Optek's inline process monitoring sensors.

Ensinger GmbH is expanding a production and logistics building in Cham, Bavaria, with a 40 million euro investment. Construction has begun on a hall for compounding lines and logistics, including an automated high-bay warehouse.
