Trivitron Healthcare has unveiled a fully automatic radiation protection gloves manufacturing facility at AMTZ in Visakhapatnam, India. The plant has an annual capacity of over 200,000 units and uses lead-free technology.

Trivitron Healthcare acquired 100% shareholding in The Kennedy Company, a US manufacturer of radiation protection X-ray shielding material and acoustic barrier products based in Scottsboro, Alabama.

Trivitron Healthcare plans to invest Rs15 crore to set up a new manufacturing facility in Chennai, India, to produce operation room equipment, as part of a larger Rs100 crore investment over 12-18 months.
