AR Industries

GFG Alliance, through its Liberty Engineering unit, won a court ruling to acquire AR Industries, the last remaining French manufacturer of aluminium wheels, saving around 350 jobs. The plant in Châteauroux has capacity to make two million alloy wheels a year.

GFG Alliance, through its Liberty Group, submitted a formal bid to acquire AR Industries, the only French manufacturer of aluminium wheels, in Châteauroux. The bid includes a three-year recovery plan with investment in equipment and quality improvements, aiming to save nearly 400 jobs.
