JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation

ABB has secured a contract from JG Summit Petrochemical to design and supply a complete plant electrification system for the expansion of its petrochemical plant in the Philippines. The expansion will increase ethylene capacity by 50% to 480,000 tpa and add a new bimodal polyethylene plant.

JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation has awarded a $180 million EPC contract to Maire Tecnimont and JGC Philippines for a new 250,000 mt/yr HDPE plant and expansion of an existing PP plant to 300,000 mt/yr in Batangas City, Philippines.

Maire Tecnimont, through its affiliate Tecnimont Philippines Inc., jointly with JGC Philippines, has been awarded an EPC lump sum contract worth $180 million by JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation for a new HDPE plant and expansion of an existing PP plant in Batangas City, Philippines.
