Republic Cement and Building Materials Inc. signed contracts with Aboitiz Construction Inc. for structural and mechanical works at its Bulacan and Cebu sites, to be completed in 11 months.

Aboitiz Construction signed a contract with Philippine Resins Industries to double the capacity of its polyvinyl chloride resin plant in Bataan from 100 to 200 metric tons per year. The 18-month project includes structural, mechanical, piping, and civil works.

Philippine Resins Industries tapped Aboitiz Construction to expand its polyvinyl chloride resin plant in Bataan, doubling capacity to 200,000 metric tons per year, with completion expected in December 2018 and a $44 million investment.
