China Southern Glass

VRX Silica has entered into a memorandum of understanding with China Southern Glass (CSG) Holding to form a strategic alliance for the supply of silica sand from its Muchea project in Australia to the Chinese glass market.

China Southern Glass (CSG) will establish its first overseas intelligent manufacturing facility in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi, with an investment of AED 300 million ($81.69 million). The facility will produce over 5 million sq m of coated, laminated, and insulating glass annually and create 400 jobs.
