Japan Lifeline

Enlight and Japan Lifeline have struck a comprehensive strategic partnership including commercial cooperation, joint regulatory filings, and a joint R&D center.

China-based Enlight Medical Technologies will fully acquire Japan Lifeline's China unit Synexmed for an undisclosed amount, gaining access to vascular intervention products and a balloon guide wire technology platform.

Japan Lifeline's Malaysian subsidiary JLL Malaysia signed a deal to acquire land in North Penang Science Park for a new factory. The company will invest RM70 million to build its first factory outside Japan, producing medical devices for cardiac rhythm management and cardiovascular surgery.
