Suominen

Ahlstrom completed the sale of its Paulínia, Brazil plant (Ahlstrom Fabricação de Não-Tecidos Ltda) to Suominen Corporation for an enterprise value of EUR 17.5 million. The plant was part of Ahlstrom's former Home and Personal business area.

Suominen invested in a new large spunlace line in the US and upgraded existing plants in Green Bay, Brazil, and Spain.

Suominen has decided to initiate a growth investment project worth approximately €6 million at its production plant in Green Bay, Wisconsin, installing new carding machinery on an existing spunlace production line.
