Veolia Water Technologies has been chosen by Munksjö to expand the industrial wastewater treatment plant at its Tolosa mill in Guipúzcoa, Spain. The new installation will have a capacity of 200 m³/hour and use AnoxKaldnes MBBR and Actiflo technologies.

The European Commission approved the merger between Ahlstrom Corporation and Munksjö Oyj. The merger is expected to be completed on or about April 1, 2017.

Paper products manufacturer Munksjö has selected Veolia Water Technologies' AnoxKaldnes MBBR process to treat effluent at its Tolosa mill in Spain.

Munksjö Oyj and Ahlstrom Corporation will combine through a statutory absorption merger, creating a global leader in sustainable fiber-based solutions with combined annual net sales of approximately €2.2 billion and about 6,200 employees.
