Qatar's KAHRAMAA awarded a $131.7 million contract to Taihan Cable & Solution to build a power transmission system connecting the Facility E Independent Water and Power Project in Ras Rakan.

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) signed a three-year contract with Al Bidda Switchgear Company for the supply of internal feeder switches, valued at QR63 million.

Doha Cables, a subsidiary of Senyar Industries Qatar Holding, has been awarded a two-year contract by Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) to supply LV, 11 KV and pilot power cables. The contract is valued at QAR 1.24 billion.

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) signed two call-off agreements with Doha Cables and Qatar International Cables Company for the supply of LV, 11 KV & pilot power cables for two years at a total cost of QR1.9 billion. The contract with Doha Cables is worth over QR1.24 billion and with QICC QR640 million.
