Mecfor

Mecfor and Advanced Dynamics, two Quebec-based SMEs, merged to create EPIQ Machinerie, the largest equipment manufacturer in the North American aluminum industry. The new company will have revenues of CAD 55 million in 2021 and 60 million in 2022.

Mecfor and Advanced Dynamics fully merged their operations to form EPIQ Machinery, a North American leader in mobile and heavy equipment for aluminum, pulp and paper, and rail industries. The merger was announced on August 24, 2021.

SeaFort Capital has made a major investment in Mecfor, acquiring the Quebec-based heavy equipment manufacturer from Groupe Ceger. The transaction consolidates over 85 jobs at Mecfor's factory and headquarters in Chicoutimi.
