Lakeside Foods broke ground on a 100,000-square-foot addition to its Manitowoc packaging facility, a $40 million project to expand frozen warehouse and refrigerated packaging space, with completion expected in early 2019 and approximately 40 new skilled jobs.

Rohde Brothers completed installation of refrigeration and HVAC systems for a new 138,000 square foot stand-alone freezer for Lakeside Foods in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, operating at -10°F. The project included three 123-ton ammonia refrigeration compressors and a 7 million BTU/hour evaporative condensing unit.
