Saint-Gobain entered exclusive negotiations to sell its French civil engineering materials distribution business DMTP to Groupe Frans Bonhomme for an enterprise value of €70 million. DMTP has 58 outlets and reported €250 million in 2018 sales.

Saint-Gobain's ISOVER unit is investing over 100 million SEK in a new state-of-the-art curing oven for glass wool production at its Billesholm, Sweden facility. The project began preparation in late 2016, construction starts in late January 2018, and completion is expected in early May 2018.
