Ishida and Heat and Control are establishing a stronger collaborative alliance to provide food industry customers with full end-to-end processing and packaging solutions for snack foods.

Heat and Control announced an exclusive distributor partnership agreement with Volpak, a brand of horizontal form-fill-seal solutions for flexible pouch packaging, to add Volpak's machines to its portfolio.

Spanish snacks manufacturer Facundo Blanco has installed four Ishida Atlas integrated multihead weigher and bagmaker combinations and an Ishida Astro unit, boosting output by 30%.

Friweika eG, a potato processor in Saxony, invested in a fully automatic Ishida QX-775 Flex tray sealer to replace two semi-automatic tray sealers. The machine increased process efficiency by 25% and was installed in autumn 2016.
