China Hongqiao Group

China Hongqiao Group put the first phase of its Yunnan 'Green Aluminium' project into production, with an annual capacity of 1 million tonnes. The plant, located in Wenshan prefecture, has a total planned capacity of 2.03 million tonnes and total investment of RMB 40 billion.

China Hongqiao (01378) entered into an aluminum product sales framework agreement with Kaisiman on July 24, 2018, valid until December 31, 2020. The annual caps are RMB 2.934 billion for 2018 and RMB 5.551 billion for 2019 and 2020.

China Hongqiao Group, the world's largest aluminum smelter, is considering relocating shuttered plants to Indonesia, where it already has alumina operations, and is in talks with investors.
