Votorantim Cimentos North America, Inc.

CRH has agreed to purchase a cement plant in Branford, Florida, from Votorantim Cimentos North America Inc. and Anderson Columbia Co. for $750 million. The deal is expected to close in late 2017.

CRH made a non-binding cash bid for PPC, a South African cement producer. PPC will allow CRH to conduct due diligence and submit an updated bid next week. The value was not disclosed.

CRH plc agreed to acquire Ash Grove Cement Company, a US cement manufacturer, for US$3.5 billion. The transaction is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals and is expected to close around year-end 2017.
