Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions received an order from Aioi Bio Energy to retrofit the No.2 unit of Kansai Electric Power's Aioi Power Plant, supplying a 200 MW steam turbine for biomass fuel conversion. Equipment delivery starts spring 2021, completion by early 2023.

Nexans was awarded a contract worth over €35 million by J Murphy & Sons Ltd to supply land export cables and accessories for the Triton Knoll offshore wind farm in the UK. The 220 kV cables will transmit power over 57 km from landfall to the substation.

Seaway Heavy Lifting, part of Subsea 7, was awarded a contract by Triton Knoll Offshore Windfarm Limited for transport and installation of 90 WTG foundations and two offshore substations. The contract is valued between USD 50 million and USD 150 million.

Tyr Energy has chosen Siemens H technology for its 1000 MWe Hickory Run Energy Center combined cycle plant in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, to be built by Kiewit Power Constructors. Siemens will also provide a long-term service agreement and an equity investment.

Siemens was chosen by Tyr Energy as technology partner for the 1,000 MW Hickory Run Energy Center in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, supplying two H-class gas turbines, one steam turbine, three generators, and a long-term service agreement. Siemens Financial Services will invest equity and own 20% of the project.
