Sumitomo Corporation acquires ASAMA GIKEN from Honda Motor
Sumitomo Corporation acquired shares of ASAMA GIKEN, an automotive brake parts manufacturer, from Honda Motor, making ASAMA GIKEN a member of the Sumitomo Corporation Group. The three companies (Sumitomo Corporation, KIRIU, and ASAMA GIKEN) started considering integration with a kickoff event on September 2, 2019.

Munjal Kiriu Industries commissions ₹150 crore plant in Gujarat
Munjal Kiriu Industries, a joint venture between Hero Motors Company and Kiriu Corporation, commissioned the first phase of a new machining plant in Mandal, Gujarat, with an investment of ₹150 crore. The plant has an installed capacity of 1,500 tonnes per month for ventilated discs and drums for OEMs.
