Barloworld Equipment

Barloworld Equipment, distributor of Caterpillar equipment in South Africa, celebrated its 90-year partnership with Caterpillar and officially opened a new 60,000 m² distribution warehouse near Johannesburg to reduce spare parts delivery times.

Foskor awarded Barloworld Equipment a tender for four Cat 789D off-highway trucks in November 2016. The 190-tonne trucks were delivered in July and August 2017 for use at Foskor's opencast phosphate mine in Phalaborwa, South Africa.
