Timken

The Timken Company agreed to acquire BEKA Lubrication, a Pegnitz, Germany-based supplier of automatic lubrication systems, for approximately $165 million. BEKA's 2019 sales are expected to be around $135 million, and the deal is subject to German regulatory review.

Timken is adding new equipment and machinery to its 350,000-square-foot Tyger River Plant in Union County to increase capacity. The expansion is a $2.5 million investment.

Timken India Ltd., a majority-owned subsidiary of The Timken Company, agreed to merge with ABC Bearings Ltd., a maker of tapered, cylindrical and spherical roller bearings based in Mumbai with plants in Bharuch and Dehradun, in a share-based deal subject to Indian approvals.
