VPK Packaging Group

VPK Packaging Group's Rigid Containers opened two extensions and new conversion equipment at its Limerick, Ireland plant after an EUR 8 million investment. The company plans a third shift that would add 25 to 30 jobs over two years.

VPK Packaging Group is starting construction of an extra 10,000 m² hall in Radomsko, Poland, investing EUR 10 million. The expansion will add 30 million m² of corrugated cardboard packaging capacity and increase employment from 200 to 215.

Peterson, acquired by VPK Packaging Group and Klingele, is investing approximately SEK 85 million in new machinery and certification at its plants in Bäckefors and Norrköping, Sweden, as part of a larger SEK 230 million investment. The plants are being modernized in autumn 2017.
