Baxter will buy the Seprafilm adhesion barrier and related assets from Sanofi in a $350 million deal expected to close by Q1 2020.

Baxter completed a $270 million expansion of its Opelika, Alabama facility, more than doubling its size to 400,000 square feet and adding four production lines. The workforce grew from 170 to over 350 employees.
