Toyo Tire Corporation

Toyo Tire Corporation approved a 7 billion yen ($51.6 million) investment to expand its Bartow County, Georgia plant, adding 1.2 million tyres of annual capacity and creating 120 jobs. Equipment installation begins September 2020, with production starting January 2021.

Toyo Tire Corporation will invest approximately 21 billion yen to construct a new building and install equipment at its Toyo Tyre Malaysia plant in Perak, Malaysia, adding annual capacity of 4.8 million tires (passenger car tire equivalent). The first phase, with 2.4 million tires capacity, will begin operations in October 2019.

Toyo Tire Corporation will invest approximately 14 billion yen to construct a new building and install equipment at its Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing plant in Georgia, USA, adding annual capacity of 2.4 million tires (passenger car tire equivalent). The first phase, with 1.2 million tires capacity, will begin operations in April 2019.
